With over 200 participants, the MD Bowling Challenge Tournament kicked-off on 14th April morning. Team We Will Strike and Team B-Shooters were amongst the players to play in the saturday morning. The tournament was officiated by our BLNG LM Mr.MatSatejo Sokiaw who himself is a very good bowler.
Three games were to be played by each team. Two normal and one Moonlight game. I must say, that was the first time for most of us to play "Moonlight" bowling where the lights were switched off and only the pins can be seen.
After the first game, team We Will Strike was leading with the highest score. We maintained on the top even after the moonlight game(Ahmad hitting 3 strikes in a row!). By the end of the 3rd game we dropped one spot to become second. (only about 40 points below the top score).
Team B-Shooters was also doing well with Yuzrin getting the Lucky 99 prize. Despite having one player frequently visiting the Mens Room due to unforseen circumstances, they scored high. Congrats Guys...
The tournament ended Sunday afternoon, 15th April. Team We Will Strike finally got 4th place overall. Both teams could not make it to the closing ceremony at the Seri Kemayan Restaurant as we were in between night shifts. Kan berehat geng...
Getting 4th place was quite an achievement for our team. We are confident that we will do better on the next round.
The prize presentation for Team We Will Strike was done during our 2nd night shift by our General Shift Supervisor Mr.Shakespear Md.Shahziar. Congratulations guys for a great game !!
